Volos

Volos is the capital and economic center of the prefecture with the same name, located on the east coast, at the foot of Mount Pilia, which offer beautiful views. Volos was founded in the middle of the 19th century, and the current city is pleasantly lively, has 71,000 inhabitants and a beautiful coastline.
The most important tourist attractions of Volos are the Archaeological Museum with exhibits representing Greek art before Christ, the city gallery located in the city council, the churches "St. Constantine", "St. Nicholas" and the chapel "Holy Trinity", as well as the ancient train.
