Milos, Greece

At the southwestern end of the Cyclades is the island of Milos - an island with a long history, which became famous worldwide with its beautiful statue of Aphrodite. The colorful houses and the crystal sea make the island very beautiful. Milos is a unique archeological center because of the catacombs there. The capital of the island is Plaka, which is located 200 meters above sea level and offers many white houses, as well as a fortress and many churches. The island is home to the port of Adamantas - one of the largest and safest ports in the Mediterranean. There is a holiday center in the northeastern part of Milos. The best way to get to know the island is on foot.
