
Chicago

Chicago is a city in the state of Illinois, on the shores of Lake Michigan. The settlement was founded in 1795, and Fort Dearborn was built in 1803. In 1833, it was proclaimed a city named Chicago. In the 1930s, during the dry regime, Chicago is glorified with its gangsters, and is now an important center of trade. The first skyscraper in the world is built in Chicago, and now three of the tallest buildings in America are located here: Sears Tower, John Hancock Center and Aon Center.
Chicago has many parks, gardens, beaches along Lake Michigan and open areas and spaces that are well-visited by tourists and residents of the city.
