Skiathos Island is a beautiful Greek island in the Aegean Sea, located near the town of Volos. The island has a mountainous terrain, rich in coniferous vegetation, olive trees, palm trees and many beaches. Skiathos Island is famous for its seventy beaches, sandy bays and five thousand years of history. A very famous city on the island is Skiathos, a city for nightlife and a place where world-famous celebrities rest.
Another interesting place is Bourtzi - a pine-covered island, which was once a fortress, but today divides the port in two and serves as a cultural center. There are many opportunities for sports on the island - fishing, mountaineering, swimming, diving and more.
