The Athens War Museum is located at the crossroads between Vasilissis Sofias Avenue and Rizari Street. Previously, this place was a military camp, which was severely damaged in 1935 and which was abandoned after the war. The Athens War Museum was officially opened in 1975 and is one of the most famous buildings in the Greek capital.
