
Uffizi Gallery, Florence

The Uffizi Gallery in Florence is located on the top floor of the Uffizi Palace, which was built by Giorgio Vasari as an administrative building of the Medici. The Uffizi Gallery was opened to the general public in the 17th century, displaying their fabulous collection of works of art. Works by Italian masters are now on display here. The Uffizi Gallery houses paintings by Giotto, Michelangelo, Raphael, Rubens, Botticelli, Titian, Leonardo da Vinci, Filippo Lippi and many other famous artists.
