Tonale, Italy

Tonale is not exactly a resort, in the full sense of the word. This relief feature of Italy is actually a mountain pass connecting the Sunny Valley with Val Camonica. The wonderful specifications of Tonale predispose many hotels to be built there and ski slopes to be established. It is they who turn it into a resort area offering many challenges and diversity.
In Tonale, the altitude of the slopes varies from 3030 m to 1890 m. As Paso Tonale and Ponte di Lenno are an integral part of the tourist and ski map of Lombardy, tourists have 800 km of slopes scattered in 20 ski areas. To be able to enjoy every kilometer of this white fairy tale, there is a system of 30 lifts that lead to Madonna di Campiglio.
Tonale offers a total length of 100 km of tracks. This resort area offers the favorable options of 35 tracks for intermediate and 5 tracks for beginners. Experts can test the extremity of 6 tracks that meet their requirements. The year-round skiing conditions in Tonale are guaranteed thanks to the Presena Glacier, at the foot of which the white beauties of the resort area spill out.
Paso Tonale offers the services of three ski schools, ready to respond to any desire for improvement. Tonale also offers suitable conditions for snowboarders, for whom there is a separate snowboard park. The bravest among them can judge the strength of their adventurous spirit on uncultivated terrain.
In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Tonale has options for other winter challenges - a dog sled ride, a snowshoe hike and an ice rink.
Tonale is a calm and quiet place during the week. Entertainment seekers other than those on the white slopes can find them on weekends or during the holidays, when the emotions of the night life sound the mountain delights.
