
Mole Antonelliana, Turin

Mole Antonelliana's building is the most famous monument in Turin. The building is 167 meters high and in the 19th century was the tallest building in the world. It was started in 1862 by the architect Alessandro Antonelli and completed in 1897. Today it houses the National Museum of Cinema. Climbing to the top of the panoramic platform reveals an incredible view of Turin and the Alps.
