Nafplio

Nafplio is a small and quiet town in a small bay in the eastern part of the Peloponnese. The architecture in the city is Venetian. The town is on the beach and is especially popular in the hot summer with American tourists and cruise ships. The city of Nafplio is located comparatively close to one of the Saronic islands of Greece - Hydra, to the pleasant village of Tolo, as well as to various archaeological sites such as Mycenae and Epidaurus and many others. The city is an proven tourist destination, because not only around it, but also all in the city there are many historical sites, which is normal, because Nafplio was the capital of the country from 1829 to 1834.
