The island of Ischia is located in southern Italy, near Naples and Capri. Ischia has a volcanic origin and the highest point of the island, Epomeo (788 m), is an extinct volcano. The island of Ischia is famous for its hot springs and spa resorts. The most famous spas are Forio, Laco Ameno and Casamichola.
