Parma is a city in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Parma was probably founded by the Etruscans in the 6th century BC, later becoming an important Roman colony. The historic center is small but very rich. The most interesting in Parma are the buildings around the Cathedral Square and the Cathedral itself. In Parma, you have to visit also the Palazzo della Pilotta, Farnese Theater, The National Gallery, Ducal Park, The house of Toscanini and others.
