Jervis Bay, Australia
Jervis Bay is located about 150 km from Sydney and is one of the most unspoilt places on the coast of Eastern Australia. It has been designated as a national park and botanical garden "Booderee", which in the Dhurga language means "coast of abundance" The entire idyllic bay is surrounded by white sandy beaches. Thick forests are visible behind them.
The symbol of the national park is the white-tailed sea eagle, believed to be the protector of the Aboriginal settlement of Rec Bay. Dolphins can be found in the bay, and in winter there are ideal spots to watch migrating whales along the coast and headlands. It is interesting to visit here all year round and the nearest town is Noor, 40 km away.
