Málaga International Airport, also known as Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport or Pablo Ruiz Picasso Airport, is Spain's fourth busiest airport by passenger traffic after Barajas in Madrid, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca. Málaga Airport is located 8 km southwest of the city of Málaga and 5 km north of Torremolinos. It has flights to more than 60 countries around the world. It is the international airport of Andalusia, handling 85% of the air traffic in the region and the only one offering as many routes outside the country. Malaga Airport has three terminals. It has the IATA code AGP.

There are several ways to get to and from Malaga airport: 
- by car - the only road leading to the airport is the MA-21, the road connecting Malaga and Torremolinos; 
- by bus – there is a bus stop on the underground level of Terminal 3, accessible from all other terminals. Flights from there go to the center of Malaga and to the port of the city; 
- by train – the airport has a newly built metro station that can be used to reach the center of Malaga; 
- by taxi – taxis are available in front of the T1 and T3 buildings.
Spanish taxis are white in color and have an orange sign on the roof that lights up when the taxi is free. They don't have a counter, but a list of price lists for certain areas they can take the customer to.
