The Costa Blanca is a coastline over 200 km long, belonging to the province of Alicante. Including many famous destinations in Spain. The territory stretches from Denia to the north, through the Costa del Tarongers, south of Torrevieja, through the Costa Calida. The name "Costa Blanca" or "White Beach" was given by British Airlines when the London-Valencia route was launched in 1957.
Costa Blanca is famous for the most favorable climate for tourism in the country. The towns along its coast have their own special radiance and beauty with picturesque harbors, old buildings with impressive facades and lots of greenery. Its nightlife, which can only be compared to that of the island of Ibiza, as well as the picturesque nature, are among the reasons why the Costa Blanca has become a favorite vacation spot.
Walking down on Costa Blanca, people encounters Calp. This fabulous and beautiful bay, despite the modern urban architecture, has preserved its authenticity, surrounded by mountains, with beautiful sands and a functioning fishing port. To the north of the bay shines the popular seaside resort of Moraira, and the more picturesque Shabia is perched on the north coast of the Costa Blanca.
Although tourism in the Costa Blanca is developing rapidly and necessitates the construction of new and new areas, rocky promontories and beautiful beaches are not given up. As a living proof of this emerges Denia, whose story of his glorious Roman and Greek past is told in the Archaeological Museum.
