Nahanni National Park Reserve of Canada is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (1978). This is due to its beauty and extraordinary scenery. The lush South Nahanni River runs through Nahanni National Park Reserve of Canada. What is interesting about it is that its altitude drops from 825 m to 350 m above sea level. Because of this, many hikers, kayakers and canoes come here to paddle down different sections of the river. Virginia Falls is also here. Rare orchids grow near it. The four canyons that the river has carved reach a depth of 1200 m.
