
Gros Morne National Park, Canada
Gros Morne National Park is located on the rocky coast of Newfoundland Island in Eastern Canada. It is an area of extraordinary natural beauty. In 1987, Gro Morne National Park was recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site. On its territory, phases of the Earth's geological history are revealed. The most famous place in Gro Morne National Park is the 30 km long Western Brook Lake. It is filled with fresh and clear dark blue water that flows down the terraces from the plateau rising above the lake.
Adding to the beautiful scenery is the Pissing Bear Falls. Whales can also be seen while taking a boat ride on the lake.
