Röttingen is also called the "City of Sundials" because of the sun trail, along which 30 sundials by their manufacturer Kurt Fuchslohner can be seen. The Romantic Road takes you into the Old Town of Röttingen with its characteristic half-timbered houses, the Baroque Town Hall, the Wine Museum and the seven preserved defensive towers of the town fortifications. If your walk is in the summer, you can enjoy the Röttingen Festival in the courtyard of the old castle Burg Brattenstein.
