Poseidon Garden in Hurghada, Egypt
Hurghada's underwater gardens stretch from Egypt's Red Sea coast south of the Suez Canal. They are a vast area with extremely beautiful coral reefs, which are only 10 meters from the shore. Underwater gardens are full of colorful sea creatures, such as lionfish and turkeyfish. Here is a boat trip with a transparent bottom, from where you can see the beautiful reefs in the crystal clear waters.
One of the most interesting places here is the Dolphin House, which is located on the large reef Shab el Erg in the shape of a crescent moon, with a shallow inner stripe. Several families of dolphins live here. Another place is the Little Giftun, located in the Giftun Island National Park and is a fantastic place for experienced divers.
There are underwater caves, canyons and steep walls, black corals and large fish such as oceanic white-finned sharks, barracudas and whale sharks, sea turtles and more. It is interesting to see the Roman ruins in Gabal Abu Durkan. And the famous cemetery of sunken ships at Shaab Abu Nuhas can be visited by an organized excursion for divers with overnight stays aboard a tourist boat.
This beautiful place can be visited at any time of the year, but the water is warmest from May to October.
