The Cantabrian coast is a beautiful coast of northern Spain. Located along the southern coast of the Bay of Biscay, Cantabria offers a huge variety of landscapes. To the north, the hilly coastal area gradually turns into a picturesque rocky coast with huge stone formations. In the south there are river valleys with one of the best beaches in Europe like the one near Loredo.
Cantabria is covered with lush vegetation because it receives a lot of rain thanks to the Gulf Stream. The Piencres Dunes Natural Park is one of the biggest attractions here.
