The Seven Sisters are cliffs formed on the south coast of England. Here the limestone plain seems to have been suddenly 'cut off' from the sea.

Neolithic and Bronze Age remains have been found on the rounded hills of the plain. In many places there are preserved roads from Roman times.

Along the coast of Chuckmere Haven, nature has sculpted the brilliant white figures of the Seven Sisters - West Hill, Brough, Baileys Hill, Flagstaff Point, Bren Point, Rough Brough, Short Brough and Hevan Brough. To the north of these figures is another interesting limestone figure, the "Tall Man of Wilmington."
