The Roman baths preserved today in the English city of Bath are one of the best examples of such ancient buildings.
The Roman Baths of Bath are located right in the center of the city, famous for its mystical architecture, and are one of the biggest tourist attractions in South West England. At least 2 hours of tour is required for one to fully explore these ancient architectures. The Roman Bath itself is located below the level of the modern street and consists of 4 main parts - a holy spring, Roman temples, a Residential part and finds from the Roman Baths organized in a museum. At ground level is only Pompeii's Room. The Roman Baths in Bath are a historic landmark that is considered one of the 7 Wonders of the West of England.
Over the centuries, the construction of the Roman Baths in Bath has been changed many times, including in the 12th century, when a new bath was built above the Royal Holy Spring. To the south of it in the 16th century appeared the so-called Queen's Bath. Today, the Roman Baths of Bath are dangerous to bathe in because the water flows through the still-functioning pipes and canals built by the Romans. However, a luxurious Spa complex has been opened here, which allows visitors to enjoy the pleasure and unique properties of water. However, the highlight of the complex remains the Museum part.
