The Church of Saint Augustine in San Gimignano is located west of the Piazza Duomo. In the Church of Saint Augustine there is a chapel with bas-reliefs of St. Augustine. Bartolo" one of the patron saints of San Gimignano. Most interesting is the altar of the church with frescoes depicting scenes from the life of St. Augustine by Benzo Gozzoli.
