The Church of Santa Felicita in Florence is located near the Ponte Vecchio bridge. The church is the oldest in Florence after "Saint Lawrence". The first church was built at the end of the 4th century or the beginning of the 5th century. and was called "St. Felicita of Rome". In its current form, the Church of St. Felicita dates from 1736-1739 and was designed by Ferdinando Ruggeri. Church of St. Felicita is famous for the painting "Deposition of Jesus from the Cross" (1525-1528) by Pontormo.
