Lake Orta is located in the Lombardy region and can best be seen from the village of Orta San Giulio. The most interesting in the village is the town hall from 1582, which is located on Mota Square, near the lake. From Horta San Giulio you can go by boat to the beautiful island of San Giulio, where is the Basilica of St. Julius.
