Stresa is the largest resort town on Lake Maggiore. It is famous for its green gardens, tranquil alleys along the water and beautiful views of Borromean Islands and Mount Motarone with a height of 1491 m. Interesting to visit are the two local parks: the Ducal Villa and Villa Palavicino.
