Cavtat is the southernmost town in Croatia. It is located 20 km from Dubrovnik. It is attractive mainly because of the Mediterranean vegetation that covers everything around. Cavtat was originally a Greek settlement called Epidaurus. About 228 BC it falls under Roman rule and becomes a colony. In Cavtat you can see unique bays, beautiful underwater areas and rich vegetation. Through Dubrovnik and its Tsilapi Airport, Cavtat is very well connected to all cities in Croatia. Among the attractions of Cavtat are the Rector's Palace, the baroque church of St. Nikola, the Franciscan monastery and others.
