The Krimml Waterfall in Austria is located at the western end of the Hohe Tauern National Park and is the largest in Europe. Its water fall is 380 m and the roar caused by the water falling at a flow of 7 cubic metres is amazing.

The nearest town to the Waterfall is the town of Kriemel. The trail to the waterfall viewing site is steep, but worth the effort because the view is spectacular.

The Crystal River flows in the heart of the beautiful glacial region of the Eastern Alps. The sights to see are: the longest glacier in the Eastern Alps, the pristine Rauris valley, home to a colony of bearded vultures.
