The church has an ancient magical charm at dusk, when the light of the chandeliers illuminates the gilding of the ceiling and the ancient columns. To the church "Virgin Mary of the altar of Heaven" lead 100 steps built in 1348, as a vow marking the end of the plague. The most interesting work of art is the mural "Life of St. Bernardino" by Pinturicio.
