The Marvelous Bridges or Wonderful Bridges (Chudnite mostove) are one of the exceptional natural phenomena in the Rhodopes, located in the Chernatitsa ridge - the most beautiful part of the mountain. Here spring is the kingdom of the flower with pink flowers, silivryak - the symbol of the Rhodopes.

The Marvelous Bridges are located on the Plovdiv-Smolyan road, 15 km from Chepelare and 1450 m above sea level. They represent two huge natural marble bridges over the steep banks of the Dulboko Dere River. The upper one is more impressive, with a length of 96 m and a vault with a height of 45 m and a width of 35 m. The river that formed it still flows under it today. Many different birds have built their nests in the impenetrable steep rocks. A beautifully designed trail offers a tour around this extraordinary natural phenomenon. The second bridge is lower with a height of 30 m and a length of 60 m. It is more difficult to pass, but no less beautiful. In all probability, there was a huge cave in this place, which collapsed during an earthquake, and as a result, this wonder of nature - the Marvelous Bridges - was formed. Since 1949, the entire surrounding area has been declared a protected area. Near the extraordinary natural phenomenon are the "Wonderful Bridges" and "Rock Bridges" huts. There the visitor can rest after a wonderful walk in this beautiful part of Bulgaria.

The famous ski resorts of Chepelare, Pamporovo and Smolyan are close to Marvelous Bridges (Chudni mostove).
