The Mekong Delta is a vast river delta rich in history and fauna. The Mekong River rises from the Tibetan Plateau passes through Cambodia and Vietnam and flows into the South China Sea.

The triangular field through which the 9 arms of the Mekong River pass has an area of about 55 thousand square kilometers. The delta was formed as a result of the layering of sediments carried by the river. They are very fertile and are of particular importance to the Vietnamese economy. Many animals - mammals, reptiles, birds, fish - are found in the area. And the quiet places in the Mekong Delta are amazing places with beautiful scenery. It is preferable to avoid the monsoon season from late May to September.
