Sagarmatha National Park, Nepal is a Himalayan ecological zone around Mount Everest - the highest in the world. In Sanskrit "sagarmata" means "Mother of the Universe". Here there are 6 more peaks with a height of over 6000 meters. Its rocky surroundings are cut by gorges and rough terrain, no lower than 2845 m. Forests of juniper, birch and silver fir grow below. These forests give shelter to 118 species of birds, such as the blood-red pheasant, the yellow-billed garga, and from the mammals - musk deer, Himalayan tar, jackals, weasel, etc.

The tourist center of the park is located in the village of Namche Bazar, which is the center of Sherpa culture from Eastern Nepal. The best time to visit here is October-November or March to May.
