Death Valley National Park
Death Valley is located in the southeastern part of California. The valley is the hottest and driest place in the whole country. Still there are snow-covered peaks and mountain-sloped forests. It is very rare here, but when this happens, the wilderness is covered with a carpet of wild flowers. Plants in Death Valley have a root system that keeps moisture absorbed and evaporation is low.
Interesting animals that are found are puma, rattlesnakes, scorpions and poisonous spiders. Death Valley is inhospitable and dangerous, but on its own beautiful.
It's nice to see Scotty's Castle at the Death Valley Ranch.
