Cave of the Winds
The Cave of the Winds is located along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains in the area of Pikes Peak, Colorado. It is a huge system of limestone caves. It is considered the fourth largest in the world with the most complex rock deposits. In the cave there are unusually beautiful mineral forms, such as large helectas, jagged pendants, gypsum mirrors and rare crystalline speleothems. A rotating door is now at the entrance, but previously the maximum measured air flow was 120 km / h, hence the name of this cave with an unusual underground world.
