
Church of St. Lawrence of Brindisi, Naples
Church of St. Lawrence of Brindisi in Naples is located in the historic center of the city. It was built in the Gothic style in the thirteenth century. The current Church of St. Lawrence of Brindisi is part of a monastery. Below the church are the remains of a Roman market. After 25 long years of excavations, it was opened to the public in 1992. The Church of St. Lawrence of Brindisi’s most interesting painting is Tino da Camaino's "Tomb of Catherine of Austria".
