In the heart of the Alps, on the Swiss border, lies the paradise - one of the largest winter resorts in Italy, Livigno. It is the paradise because it offers exceptional conditions for skiing on the sunny slopes of Alpine Lombardy. This location guarantees snow and sun throughout the winter season - from November to April. Livigno is a city with an extremely authentic atmosphere. Its appearance is due to charming wooden houses and fabulously painted facades, woven in a skilful combination with modern infrastructure and unadulterated Italian hospitality.
Livigno is located at 1816 m above sea level, and that of its slopes varies from 3000 m to 1800 m, with a maximum displacement of 1200 m. Their total length is 110 km, and these kilometers are accessible thanks to the system of 34 lifts with a capacity of 46000 souls per hour. In the resort, there are 29 slopes for beginners, 37 for intermediate and 10 for experts. In total, Livigno is divided into six ski areas, where even the most difficult slopes are accessible thanks to a gondola lift. In addition to groomed slopes, extreme skiers can go down on rough terrain, which guarantees them wonderful experiences.
Snowboarders are also discovering paradise in Livigno. Low prices and their atmosphere act like a magnet. Thanks to the chair lift, they are taken to almost any track located at a higher altitude. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Livigno offers organized dog sledding, skating, winter hiking and paragliding.
An exceptional advantage of this winter center are the restaurants that diversify and strengthen between the descents. Music, even dancing, hot drinks, sweet talk. Have a nice rest before the next challenge. In the evening, the fun catalog offers over 100 bars, several pubs and about 100 restaurants. In hotels, anyone who decides not to embark on a snow adventure can take advantage of, for example, an indoor pool, gym, spa or bowling.
