The Palazzo dei Diamanti(Diamanti Palace) in Ferrara was started in 1493 and was commissioned by Sigsimundo d’Este, the brother of Governor Ercole I. It is one of the most famous palaces in Italy. It was designed by Biagio Rosetti. Today, the Palazzo dei Diamanti houses the National Art Gallery, which houses mostly works by artists from the Ferrara School.
