Frias Castle is a picture-postcard castle – perched on a high cliff above a charming medieval village. Only ruins remain of it today, but this does not prevent one from getting an idea of what it was in the past. Climbing the defensive ramparts leads to a place from which a spectacular view over the Ebro River is revealed. Frias Castle was built in the XIII-XVI century, and this is clearly visible in the building of the Church of San Vicente, located at the other end of the medieval village, and below San Vicente, a medieval fortified bridge rises again.
